Unlike structured fees, where the firm is waiting for prevailing party fees, for certain proceedings we accept a flat fee, which means you will never have to pay more once you’ve paid us the flat fee. For example, for a $7,500 flat fee we will (i) draft a due process petition, (ii) engage in preliminary settlement negotiations, (iii) attend the mandatory settlement conference at the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law, and (iv) if settlement is possible, wrap up the deal within the next two weeks. Whether you waive fees or not, on this structure, you will never owe the firm any more money. We also accept a $5,000 flat fee to accompany a client to mediation.
